Graydon L. Beck, age, 81, of Freeport, OH passed away Tuesday November 21, 2023 at his home. He was born November 16, 1942 to the late LeRoy F. Beck and Ruth Levelius Beck in Waukegan, IL.
Graydon was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and working on his farm and raising beef cattle. He loved spending time with his family especially his great grand children, he loved how excited they would get when they saw him. He loved to travel, especially to Illinois and Wisconsin to see and visit with all the cousins and friends. Graydon was retired as COO of SGS Tool Company in Monroe Falls, OH. He attended SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Lore City, OH.
Along with his parents Graydon is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn "Moochie" Ruffini Beck who passed away May 28, 2011. One brother, Robert Beck.
Surviving are two sons, James (Missy) Beck of Canton, OH and Robert C. (Lou Ann) Beck of Newcomerstown, OH. One sister, Debra Yerves of Akron, OH. Two brothers, Charles (Nancy) Beck of Canal Fulton, OH and Thomas Beck of Akron, OH. Grandchildren, Timothy R. Beck, Ashley A. Beck, Keith E. Beck, Cassandra J. (Tim) Wertz. Many great grandchildren.
A memorial celebration will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 139 South High Street Akron, Ohio 44308 on April 20, 2024 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
