Harold E. (Sonny) Maust Jr., age 64, passed away Monday October 14, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was born on January 17, 1960 to the late Harold Maust Sr. and Esther Cowgill Maust in Zanesville, OH. Harold was a mechanic for Bates Auto and also was a truck driver. He loved god and his dog Koda.
Along with his parents Sonny is preceded in death by a grandson Dylan Maust. One Brother, Bill Maust.
He is survived by a daughter, Heather (Robert) Willey of Cambridge, OH. One son, Chris Maust of Byesville, OH. One grandson, Devin (Leann Cogil) Maust of Cambridge, OH. Six sisters: Pam Moore, Gloria Dodrill, Mary (John) Moore all of Cumberland, OH, Joyce Metcalf of Zanesville, OH, Bonnie Maust of Cambridge, OH, Suzzie Wright of IN. One brother, Jim Maust of Buckeye Lake, OH. Harold's girlfriend, Nancy Wilson of Cambridge, OH and her daughter, Tisha Devon Pennell of Newark, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Burial will take place at a later date at Guernsey Memory Gardens Cemetery.
