Inez C. "Katie" Paisley, age 80 of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Beckett House in New Concord. She was born in Cleveland, on February 28, 1940, the daughter of the late Samuel Wolfe and Thelma Kathleen (Roberts) Swartz.
Katie was a devoted wife, mother, mammie, great mammie and homemaker. She was a lifelong member of the First Church of God. She was also a life member of the Christian Women Connection and had been past state president as well. Katie loved reading, crafting, sewing and cooking. She was also an avid dog lover. She was most appreciative of the Friday night family meals and spending time with all her grandchildren.
Katie is survived by: her husband of 63 years, Merlin Lee Paisley; their children, Duane (Patti) Paisley, Rene (Jamie) Price, Greg (Kim) Paisley and Aaron (Jessica) Paisley; grandchildren, Bryan (Erin) Paisley; Emily (Jarrett) Smith; Michael (Carly) Price; Adam Price; Sara-Kate (Brandon) Peterson; Emma, Madeline, Thompson and Luke Paisley; Austin and Ryley Paisley; great grandchildren, Addison, Cashton, Ellison, Sawyer, Evan and Ava; siblings, Wanda "Jean" Wilson, Sam Swartz, Rick Talbert and Randy Talbert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, a sister Shirley Talbert, and a brother Jim Swartz.

Due to some unfortunate circumstances, services and visitation have been cancelled.
