Jack R. Wilson, age 92 of Cambridge, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Astoria Place. He was born on March 7, 1930 in Williamstown, West Virginia, a son of the late Carl Bernard Wilson and Anna Agnes (Atkinson) Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was a graduate of Brown High School. He retired from Guernsey Memorial Hospital. He continued to serve the hospital through his volunteer work at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical. He was also an avid Ohio State fan.
Jack is preceded in death by: his wife Theresa Mae (Phillis) Wilson, they were married on September 27, 1968; also deceased are: four brothers, Bernard, Herald, Paul, and Donald; a sister Edna Wilson Winnett; and a step-daughter Susie Cavanaugh.
He leaves: two daughters, Shirley Crozier of Cambridge and Janice Ball of Carrolton; two sons, Larry (Barbara) Wilson of Cambridge and Jack Wilson of North Carolina; a son-in-law Jerry Cavanaugh of New Concord; eleven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren; two nieces; and a nephew.
Visitation will be held at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm with the service to begin at 7 pm. Chaplain Kris Bright will officiate with burial to take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Guernsey at P.O. Box 1165 Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
