James J. Balik, age 82 of Lore City, passed away peacefully Friday, March 06, 2026 at his home in Lore City, Ohio.
He was born January 7, 1944 in Kipling, Ohio. He enjoyed spending time at the family farm at Quaker City and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed going to classic car shows and swap meets. He was employed as a self-employed builder for the largest part of his working life.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Vicki E. Balik (Xanders); son, Kelly B. Balik and son, Brent D. Balik, both of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Paige Balik, Hailey Balik, Aiden Balik and Camden Davis; and number of nieces and cousins.
