James F. Boggs, age 92 of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Countryview Assisted Living Center. He was born on August 19, 1930 in Stumptown, West Virginia, a son of the late Charles Boggs and Vonnie B. (Stump) Boggs.
Mr. Boggs was graduate of Normantown High School in West Virginia. He went to Glenville State College and served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. James was a supervisor for AT&T for many years. He enjoyed golfing at Saltfork and Wildfire and was a former member of the Cambridge Kiwanis Club and the Christ United Methodist Church.
James is survived by: his wife of 64 years, Fritzie A. (Reed) Boggs; a son Daniel (& Elizabeth) Boggs; two grandchildren, Tracy (& Keith) Dembly and Charlie (& Krista) Boggs; 4 great grandchildren, Kera, Keith, Kali and Kendall; and two sisters, Mary R. Batten and Margaret A. Wright.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; a daughter Beverly J. Boggs; and a brother Robert F. Boggs.
