James S. Law (a kind gentlesoul), age 84, of Senecaville, OH passed away Friday, July 4, 2025 at Altercare Summit Acres in Caldwell, OH. He was born on October 15, 1940 to the late Wilbur W. Law and Juanita F. Stanley Law in Cambridge, OH. He graduated from Senecaville High School in 1960. James was a member of the Operating Engineers and later retired from Box USA in Byesville, OH. He was a US Navy Veteran.
Along with his parents James is preceded in death by a sister, Judy Huffman.
He is survived by his wife Norma L. Hawkins Law whom he married August 7, 1963. Two daughters, Connie (Brian) Piskula of Byesville, OH and Cyndi Law of Senecaville, OH. One son, Kevin (Jen) Law of Mansfield, OH. One sister, Peggy Jo Dettra of Senecaville, OH. One granddaughter, Tiffani A. Haney (Zach Jones). Three step grandchildren: Erin (Shawn) Elerick, Teri Haney Bacon (Chris Mackley), Kristina (Eric) Mackley. Step great grandchildren: Kaylee, Bentley, Emma, Ethan. Many Nieces and Nephews.
Friends may Call from 11 am till 1 pm Tuesday, July 8 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 1 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Senecaville, Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites conducted by The Guernsey County Veterans Council.
