James Allen Nay, age 91 of Cambridge, passed away on November 13, 2025 at the Cardinal Place. He was born on July 25, 1934 in Elyria, Ohio, a son of the late Alfred Walter Nay and Charlotte (Johnson) Nay.
Mr. Nay was a 1952 graduate of Elyria High School. He then graduated from Case Institute of Technology and also completed some post grad work. Jim was an engineer, he designed controls for nuclear submarines, worked on nuclear power plants and had also worked on the Apollo Spacecraft. He was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church and Sigma Nu Delta Alpha.
Jim was married on May 30, 2009 to Patsy Ann Nay, she died on November 28, 2021. He is also preceded in death by: his parents Alfred and Charlotte and a sister Donna Belle.
Surviving are: children, Denise (& Tom) Walsh of Piedmont, OK., Mark (& Denise) Nay of Keystone, SD. Laura (& Ed) Yarzebinski of Gibsonia, PA., James (& Penny) Nay of Lebanon, TN; and Amy Fixis of West Columbia, SC and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Southern Hills Baptist Church on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11 am.
