James A. Patterson, age 87. of Cambridge, OH passed away Friday January 8, 2021at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, OH. James was born on April 1, 1933 to the late Paul Patterson and Marie (Casner) Patterson in Cambridge, Ohio. A 1952 graduate of Cambridge High School. He is retired from The Area Agency on Aging. James also worked at The Haven of Hope and was a Kmart Greeter. A member of The First Christian Church, he served as a Deacon, and very much enjoyed the Christian's Men Fellowship and some years ago he also took part in the Living Word as an extra. He also enjoyed going to county fairs and many festivals, as well as football and basketball games. James served in The National Guard and was a member of The Buckeye State Sheriffs Assn.
James is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
Friends may call from 12 Noon till 2 pm on Tuesday January 12, 2021 at Bundy-Law Funeral. There will be a Graveside Service to follow at 2:30 pm at Center Cemetery 4 miles east of Cambridge on State Rt. 22 at The former Center Baptist Church. Rev. Seth Stout will be officiating.
