Jeanette A. Greenwood, age 66 of Cambridge, Ohio passed away peacefully at the Beckett House in New Concord, Ohio on December 10, 2019. She was born on December 16, 1952 in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Gene and Ruth (Hammersley) Cheney. She grew up on a farm in Muskingum County, she graduated from Tri Valley High School, Muskingum University and the College of Mount St. Joseph. She was a retired teacher having taught in the Cambridge City Schools for 32 years. Jeanette loved reading to children. She was an animal lover, especially her horses that she so much enjoyed caring for on her beloved Cornerstone Farm. Jeanette is survived by her husband of 43 years David Greenwood of Cambridge, a brother Ron (Sandy) Cheney of Dallas, Texas, as well as several nieces and a nephew. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Beckett House, and a very special thanks to nurses Brittany, Becky and caregivers Ashley who went above and beyond to care for Jeanette. Funeral services will be private for the family at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
