Jerry Burnette, age 85, of Cambridge, OH passed away Monday December 19, 2022 at Beckett House of New Concord, OH. He was born on October 16, 1937 to the late Everette D. Burnette and Merle M. Blake Burnette in West Virginia. Jerry was a retired Computer Programmer and a US Army Veteran. Jerry loved hunting, sports, bowling and golfing. He loved animals, horses, dogs and cats.
Along with his parents Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Sheehy Burnette whom he married May 11, 1968. One sister, Sandra J. Amick.
Survived by one brother, Jim (Debi) Burnette of New Concord, OH.Sister-in-law, Kathleen (Tom) Chekel. Nieces and nephews, W.D. (Lisa) Amick, Debi (Greg) Burnette Johnson, Travis (Morgan) Burnette, Trevor Burnette. His beloved cat Max.
Following Jerry's wishes a caring cremation will take place.
