John Michael Bowen, age 65 of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at his home. He was born on June 26, 1957 in Columbus, a son of the late Max Jacob Bowen and Rachel A.. (Eberwine) Bowen.
Mr. Bowen was a 1975 graduate of Cambridge High School. He worked most of his career as a mechanic for Schick's Auto and Towing. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cutting wood and spending time with his dogs, Stella and Sophie.
John is survived by: his wife Kristy (Kiggans) Bowen, they were married on December 24, 2010; a daughter Gracie (& Graham) Ferdon; sisters, Marcia (& Dail R. ) Parrish of New Concord and Michele (& Kirk) Stotler of Millersburg; brother and sister-in-laws, Kelly (& Mark) Wills, Kathy Wolverton, Kerrie (& P.J.) Whitely, Kim (& Ryan) Ashby, Amanda (& Shawn) Ballentine and Andrew Anderson (& Niki); many nieces and nephews including, Jeremy (& Dr. Melissa) Parrish and Jenna (& Jonathan) Shold; and a good friend Hank Sherby.
He is preceded in death by: his father and mother in law Paul "Benny" and Diana Wolverton.
Graveside services will be held at Northwood Cemetery on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11 am with Pastor Dail Parrish officiating.
