John R. Caldwell, age 81, of Cambridge, OH passed away Thursday April 4, 2024 at his home. John was born March 4, 1943 to the late Ralph A. Caldwell and Mary M. Caldwell in Antrim, OH. John was Presbyterian by faith. A 1961 graduate of Madison High School. He retired from Champion Spark Plug in Cambridge. John enjoyed farming and working on projects.
John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diana Johnson Caldwell. One daughter, Karen (Bob) Duff of Cambridge, OH. Two sons, Brian Caldwell of Kimbolton, OH and Mark (Nathaly) Caldwell of DC. Two brothers, James A. (Marjorie) Caldwell of Cambridge, OH and Don R. (Dottie) Caldwell of NC. Seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. John is also survive by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
A private graveside service was held for the family. Burial was in Guernsey Memory Gardens with Pastor Perry Baranich officiating.
