John Junior Jeffery, age 85 of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Astoria Place. He was born in Cambridge on October 6, 1939, a son of the late John William Jeffery and Helen Louise (North) Jeffery.
John graduated high school and went into the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965 and served in France. He worked at Plastic Compounders for many years and had been a affiliated with Faith United Methodist Church in the past also.
John was a kind of a private man and had been a resident at Red Carpet / Astoria Place since 2012. He had many friendships with the staff that helped care for him and appreciated what they do.
John had two sons, Michael Jeffery and David Jeffery; four grandchildren, Isaiah Thomas, Bryan, Anna and Joshua; his siblings, Gary, Margaret, James, Donald, Ruth (& Bill), Paul, Samuel (& Nancy), Larry (& Linda), Homer, Steve, Patricia, Dave and Shirley; many many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at Northwood Cemetery Chapel on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2 pm officiated by John's brother Larry Jeffery. Military honors will be performed by the Guernsey County Veteran's Council. Memorial donations may be made to Astoria Place at 8420 Georgetown Road, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
