Obituary

John R. Harper, age 78, died Monday February 14, 2005 at the home of his son Brian. He was born November 11, 1926 in Old Washington, Ohio the son of the late John H. Harper and Carrie W. Shipman Harper Francy. He was a member of the Old Washington United Methodist Church, a Farmer and worked for The Dairy, was a school bus driver and retired from Phillips Products.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy L. Harper who died June 4, 2000. 2 Brothers: Ralph and Rex Harper and 1 Sister Macile Tedrick.
He is survived by 1 Daughter Donna Chester of Old Washington, Ohio. 1 Son Brian J. and Pamela Harper of Cambridge, Ohio. 1 Sister In Law Joann Harper of Cambridge, Ohio. 3 Grandchildren: Brad and Patricia Chester of Old Washington, Oh., Jeremy and Melissa Chester of Columbus, Oh. and Dustin Harper of Cambridge, Oh.
4 Step Grandchildren: Erica and D.J. Stillion of Wellston, Oh., Heather and John Mooreland of Wellston, Oh., Shawn Markle of Cambridge, Oh. and Lisa Ruggles of Winterset, Oh. 9 Step Great Grandchildren: Eddie ''E.J'' Jirles of Wellston, Oh., Brianne Jirles of Wellston, Oh., Halley Jirles of Wellston, Oh., Jarret Stillion of Wellston, Oh., Brenden Moorehead of Wellston, Oh., Kylie Moorehead of Wellston, Oh., Kirstin Moorehead of Wellston, Oh., Ethan Vincent of Winterset, Oh. and Riley Ruggles of winterset, Oh. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Bundy-Law Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Beth Stillwagon. Burial will be in Old Washington Cemetery.
