John C. Sayre, age 59 of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born on February 22, 1960 in Cambridge, a son of the late Albert H. Hardy Sr. and Mary (Sayre) Hardy.
He is also preceded in death by: a grandmother Lucinda Sayre; uncles, John C. Sayre and Harry Sayre; a aunt Sylvia Earley.
Survived by: brothers, Albert (Sandra J.) Hardy, Jim Thompson and Roy Hardy; a sister Becky Callihan; a half sister Ann Sayre Phillips; brother-in-laws, Tim McKim and Ray McKim; sister-in-law Ruthie McKim; nephews, Ray Collins, T.J. Phillips, David, and Andrew; nieces, Missy Phillips, Tish Phillips and Amber; and many great nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was a graduate of Cambridge High School and had worked for Ford Plastics in Cambridge.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 5 to 7 pm. His funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11 am also at Bundy-Law with Rev. Randolph White officiating.
