Judith A. Whiteleather, age 83 of Cambridge, Ohio passed away on November 18, 2022 at her residence. She was born on December 13, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Donald and Ruth (Speckert) Klanke. She is also preceded in death by her husband Dr. Richard Freed Whiteleather, and a aunt Esther Oebels and uncle Vernon Speckert. She was a dedicated educator retiring in 2012 and after 30+ years as a school teacher in the Cambridge School District, was a member of the Christ Our Light Parish, and she loved her dogs Heidi, Callie, and Mindy, she was a avid Penn State Nittany Lions fan, was a gourmet cook, and she loved her grandkids and great grandkids. Judith is survived by her daughter Susan Sneddon (Mike Carpenter) of Cambridge, a son Bruce (Rita) Welsh of Leesburg, Virginia, 4 grandchildren Jessica (Mark) Hagar, Steven (Jenna) Whaley, Devin and Colin Welsh, 4 great-grandchildren Emma and Ellie Hagar, Jaxon and Stella Whaley, a aunt Vernell Speckert of Port Richey, Florida and the father of her children Charles Anthony Welsh III. Special thanks to her caregivers Kathy Hale, Brandi Campbell, Kathy Enochs, and Kathy Nicholakis Powell. Memorial visitation will take place from 11:00 to 12:00 on Monday November 28, 2022 at Christ Our Light Parish with memorial services to follow at 12:00 at the church with Father Paul Hrezo officiating.
