Kacey B. Lee age 40 of Cambridge, passed away to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Astoria Place. She was born in Cambridge on November 2, 1982.
Kacey was a graduate of Buckeye Trail High School in 2001. She then attended Muskingum University and graduated from Ohio University in 2011 with her nursing degree. She spent her nursing career in the emergency department at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. Kacey was a genuine smiling face in the ER who immediately put one at ease with her compassion, kindness and wealth of knowledge. Kacey was best known for her fabulous culinary skills, her artistic talents, her poetic nature, her amazing singing and her compassion for people.
She is survived by: her parents, Jill B. (Thompson) Lee and Robert E. Lee; her son Zackery R. Lucas; two half brothers, R. Scott Lee and James (Betsy) Lee; several aunts and uncles; and her sistas.
Preceding her in death are: her grandparents, Bert and Leanna Thompson and Virginia Eileen Adams.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 4 to 7 with a Remembrance Celebration to begin at 6 pm. Private family burial will take place in Northwood Cemetery with Rev. Jim Lee officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a local animal shelter in lieu of flowers.
