Karen Sue Kane, age 74 of Grove City, formerly of Cambridge and Weirton, W.V., passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Mount Carmel in Grove City. She was born on September 22, 1949 in Steubenville, a daughter of the late Russell Cyril Davis and Ethel Gaynell (Bucey) Davis.
Karen was a 1967 graduate of Weir High School in Weirton W.V. She had worked as a medical administrator in Children's Hospital in Columbus and then for Southeastern Ohio Physicians in Cambridge. She lastly worked as practice administrator and retired from Columbus Cardiology Consultants.
Karen was Methodist by faith and along with her husband, they were active members of the Cambridge Band Boosters while their kids were in school.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Collins R. Kane; a son John (Angela) Kane; sister Donna McGranahan; grandchildren, Christopher Kandibovich, Alexander (Lindsay) Kandibovich, Tatiana (& Austin) Netting, Collins David (& Stephanie) Kane and Danielle Kane; two great granddaughters, Ryleigh and Ava Netting; and several nieces nephews cousins and friends.
Karen is preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter Leslee Kane-Jones; and two brothers and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on May 13, 2023, Monday, at 11am with Mark Beros officiating. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
