Kathlene "Kathy" I. Cramer, age 95 of Kimbolton, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Riverside Manor in Newcomerstown. She was born in Winterset on October 25, 1928, a daughter of the late Thomas Dean and Ona (Smith) Dean.
Mrs. Cramer is preceded in death by: her parents, Thomas and Ona Dean; her step-mother Mary Dean; her first husband Hershel Carpenter, second husband Donald Cramer; two infant brothers; two sisters, Charlene Rapp and Irene Stilgenbauer and a brother James Dean.
She is survived by: a step-daughter Donita (Bill) Baker of Newark; sisters, Arlene (Ralph) Doherty of Cambridge, Shirley Dean of Winterset, Ruby (Virgil) Quillin of Kimbolton and Diane Hayes of Freeport; brothers, Thomas Dean of Dover, of Cambridge, and Rodney (Barb) Dean of Kimbolton; four granddaughters, Denise Bullock, Tonya (Josh) Baker, Amy (Matt) Landis and Nicole Baker; six great grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
Kathy graduated from Madison High School in 1946. She had worked as the chapter coordinator for Modern Woodmen. She was a member of the Clearfork Baptist Church, Modern Woodmen, the Homemaker Club, and Rural Neighbors Quilting Club. She married Hershel on December 24, 1948 he passed in December 1956 and remarried on January 16, 1959 to Donald, he passed November 13, 2004.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10 am to 11 am with services to begin at 11 am. Rev. Craig Murray will officiate with burial following in Clearfork Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a hospice center or to a cancer society.
