Kathy J. Milligan, age 64 of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. She was born in Dennison, Ohio on August 19, 1957, a daughter of Larry and Carol (McCullough) Caldwell of Cambridge.
Kathy was a certified dental technician servicing the Cambridge area. She also worked for many years in the family business. She graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1975, and graduated from Columbus State class of 1977. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Cambridge. Kathy cherished spending time with her family, whether it be skiing in the Rockies, or with her toes in the sand at Myrtle Beach. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Dave, as near as Marietta for lunch by the river, or as far as a cross country trip to somewhere sunny. While they also visited their two kids frequently, she was happiest when both of her kids were home in Cambridge under one roof. Kathy also spent a lot of her time creating; there wasn't anything she couldn't make. Some of her favorite things were making their house a home, personalized gift giving, challenging herself with new projects, and spending time caring for her chickens. She found joy in volunteering her time with numerous local and statewide charities. Kathy's family and friends will find comfort in remembering her selflessness and endless giving spirit.
Kathy is preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Floyd and Irene Milligan and is survived by: her parents Larry and Carol Caldwell; her husband Dave C. Milligan, they were married on August 12, 1978; their children Ryan (Nicole) Milligan and Whitney (James Bretz) Milligan; her siblings, Keith (Tricia) Caldwell, David (Brenda) Caldwell; brother and sister-in-laws, Dale (Kelly Jones-Milligan) Milligan and Jack Milligan all of Cambridge; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home at 11 am. Visitation will be an hour prior starting at 10 am. Pastor Evan Greathouse will officiate with burial taking place at a later date.
