Kenneth W. Anderson Sr., 84, of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 22, 1937 in North Salem, Ohio, a son of the late Orland Anderson and Dorothy (Snell) Anderson.
Mr. Anderson served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He had worked over 40 years in retail for McCrory's and Ben Franklin. Ken was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh teams, he enjoyed watching the Penguins, Pirates and Steelers as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved fishing and watching his grandchildren play baseball.
Ken leaves his wife of almost 60 years, Bernadette M. (Bronder) Anderson; their children, Dr. Denise (Dr. John) Antalis of Cambridge, Pam (Tom) Budzik of Stallings, North Carolina, Kenneth W. Anderson Jr. of West Virginia and Christopher (Sarah) Anderson of Ada, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jimmy and Nick Antalis, Zack and Jacob Budzik, and Abbey and Eli Anderson; a brother-in-law and two sister in laws; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; a son Donald Joseph Anderson; and a brother Robert Anderson.
