Kent Ashley Ferguson, age 62 of Nashport, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 11, 1963 in East Liverpool, Ohio.
Kent was a 1981 graduate of Cambridge High School. He was a manager of several Wendy's Restaurants in the Cambridge area for around 19 years. He had also worked at; AutoZone, Captain D's., Panara, Avon and Kellogg in Zanesville. Kent was also a cook at Clay Gardens Place and most recently employed as a baker at Dunkin Donuts.
He enjoyed cooking and baking and loved his cats. He took pride in his gardening skills and was able to see the good in everyone.
Surviving are his parents, James R. and Donna C. (Tweed) Ferguson of Kimbolton, OH; a sister Amy C. (Brian) Cain of Troutman, NC, a brother Mark R. Ferguson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; his nieces, Amanda (Dan Brannon) Cain of Akron, OH and Rebekah (Steve) Swain of Townsend, TN; an aunt Jane Ann and uncle Timothy Bennett of Gwinn, MI.; and many good friends.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 also at Bundy-Law at 11 am, officiated by Pastor Cameron Godfrey. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
