The family of Kris Andrew Froehlich, of Cambridge, OH, is saddened to announce his passing on Oct. 30th, 2025.
Born March 25, 1975 in Zanesville, OH, Kris was a graduate of Cambridge High School and attended Waynesburg College. He worked as a tower climber on cell phone towers -which he claimed made him feel closer to God. The highlight of his working years occurred when he completed his apprenticeship at UA Local 495, becoming a journeyman pipefitter. He had a great love for catfishing and a passion for the outdoors. A favorite motto was "it isn't hiking unless you go off the trail." A handyman by nature, Kris enjoyed tinkering around and fixing things. He was graciously generous to all those around him. Notre Dame & Philadelphia Eagles were always number one; according to him.
He is survived by his wife April Froehlich, of Cambridge, OH; children Kirsten Froehlich, Korbin Froehlich, both of Hilton Head, SC; stepchildren Denisha Schaefer, of Senecaville, OH, Clorissa (Rusty) Porter, of Cambridge, OH, and Sydney Masters, of Pickerington, OH. He leaves behind 6 stepgrandchildren. Siblings are Kay Brammer (Jeff) of Lowell, OH; Karen Froehlich, Karl Froehlich, Ken Froehlich, all of Cambridge, OH; and Kurt (Cindy) Froehlich, of Clarksville, TN. There were a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Kris was preceded in death by his parents Ken Froehlich of Cambridge, OH, Carol Froehlich of Byesville, OH, and his sister Kimberly Froehlich of Zanesville, OH.
Kris will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering integrity, and love for his family. His warmth and compassion were gifts to everyone who crossed his path. He was a shining light with an infectious laugh and smile. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact he had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His passing will leave a lasting void in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life to honor Kris will be held at a later date.
