Larry B. Larrick , age 88, of Cambridge, OH passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 at his home, where he was born and farmed his whole life. Larry was born on May 4, 1934 to the late Ellis B. Larrick and Alice M. Bucy Larrick in Cambridge, OH. He was retired from The Guernsey County Highway Department where he worked on the bridge crew. He also worked in the coal mines for many years and was a former trustee of Center Township. Larry was a member of the NRA and a former member of the Coon Hunter's Club. A graduate of Old Washington High School. He was an avid Coon Hunter and loved to garden. Larry loved to collect: guns, pen knifes, carbide lights and books. He was a self taught musician and could play anything with strings. He loved to read western's and history.
Along with his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his wife Janet M. Showalter Larrick and a brother Lee E. Larrick.
Surviving are: two daughters, Becky (Michael) Attaway of Cambridge, OH and Amy (Mark) Mellott of Cambridge, OH; two sisters, Leanna A. Larrick and Sharon M. Larrick both of Cambridge, OH; grandchildren, Desiree M. (Gary) Whittle of Cambridge, OH, Benjamin J. Morland of VA., Alice M. Brown, Nathan D. Brown, Asher B. Brown, Reuben A. Brown and Janet R.A. Brown all of Cambridge; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 11 AM till 1 PM Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 PM Tuesday with burial to follow at Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA. 22116 - 7023.
