Laura L. Calvert, age 36 of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 17, 1985 in Fairfax, Virginia.
Laura was a 2003 graduate of Buckeye Trail High School. She then attended Ohio University Zanesville where she received her bachelor's in 2007 in Organizational Communications. In 2008 she and William Calvert were married on August 30th. Laura was employed at Verizon in Cambridge for a short while before the birth of Bennett. She then worked at Advantage Bank while Claire was born and continued there until after the birth of Jenna. She most recently worked at the Genesis Health Plex in Zanesville for a few years and was currently employed at Guernsey County Children's Services. She was a member of the First Christian Church and was a wonderful cook. She loved watching her kids sporting events and 4-H projects.
Laura leaves: her husband William Calvert; their children, Bennett, Claire and Jenna; her mother Jennifer Lewis; her brother Zach (Krystal) Lewis; her sister Hannah Lewis; her mother and father-in-law, Kathy (Tim) Calvert; her brother-in-law Tommy Calvert; and her two nieces and her two nephews.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 23, at 11 am also at Bundy-Law.
