Laura B. (Scott) Fitzgerald age 43 of Cambridge, formerly of Steubenville, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at her home. She was born on July 2, 1971 in Steubenville, a daughter of the late Archie Scott and Betye Kathryn (Evans) Scott.
Mrs. Fitzgerald was a 1989 graduate of Wintersville High School. She was a member of the Old Washington United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her kids and orchestrating family events. She also loved cooking, crocheting, fishing, and mowing.
Laura is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" A. Fitzgerald of the home, they were married on September 23, 1995. Their children, Marc Fitzgerald and Abigail Fitzgerald of the home; two brothers, Bill (Lori) Scott of Colliers, W.V and Clinton Scott (Danane Patrick) of Reynoldsburg; four sisters-in-law, Cyndy (Tom) McVicker of Quaker City, Marsha (John) Thompson of Cambridge, Janet (Kim) Powell of Cambridge and Angela (Ron Jr.) Pilger of Follansbee, W.V; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial visitation will be on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Old Washington United Methodist Church from 3 to 5 pm with a memorial service at 5 pm. Rev. Clayton Coffey will officiate the service.
