Linda Darlene Waltz Slasor, 69 of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Continuing Healthcare At The Ridge. She was born on February 20, 1954 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Carl Waltz and Bonnie (Burkey) Waltz.
Linda had worked at Oxford Tile and March Electric, and for over 20 years at Ametec. She had received her associates degree from M.A.T.C and attended Ohio University. She volunteered many years at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Red Carpet, Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center and for the Suicide Prevention Coalition. She also made many friends through volunteering at the County Home and Feed My People.
She leaves: a daughter Heather D. (Charles) Hanenkrat; siblings, Suzan (Tim) Agnew and Carl Eugene Waltz; grandchildren, Brooke Bing, Colton Bing, Hailee Hanenkrat; nephews and nieces, D.J. (Rachael) Todd, Kristin (John) Anderson, Brandon Reifsnyder; and a great grandson Kruz Lennox Warrick; an aunt Patty (Waltz) Edwards; many other family members and friends including Sandra DeWees.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her aunt and uncle Ed and Mary Grindstaff.
