Lynda J. (Riegel) Baker, age 67 of Kimbolton, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 14, 1953 in Lorain, Ohio, to the late Wallace and Jeanne (Smith) Riegel. Lynda was a 1971 graduate of Lorain High School. She was a therapeutical worker at the Cambridge State Hospital for many years before retiring. She loved gardening, cooking, coloring and playing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed the company of her cats and watching them play. Along with her parents, Lynda was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Baker, on August 25, 2002, whom she married on December 31, 1983; and a stepdaughter, Nikki Lutz. Lynda is survived by a son, Bradford Herda of Zanesville; a daughter Jennifer (Brian) Maston of Carson, California; a stepson, Thor (Tracy) Baker of Lima; her grandchildren, Adrian, Ashley, Wally, Ashley, Allison, Chris, Breana, Avery, Noah and Hunter; several great grandchildren; her siblings: Michael Riegel of Lorain, Thomas (Jean) Riegel of North Olmsted and Lorraine (Richard) Kapalin of Lorain; several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a special aunt, Elia Riegel of Lorain. A memorial service will be held at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter in Lynda's name.
