Margaret Monica Cummings, 94, of Cambridge, Ohio, peacefully passed away on July 16, 2023 at her home in Cambridge surrounded by her loving family.
Margaret was born on May 5, 1929 in Dunkirk, New York to Albert and Louise Feser. As a baby in 1929, she was named "Little Miss Dunkirk". Marge had four brothers and two sisters. She graduated from Dunkirk High School where she was the editor of her school newspaper.
Margaret's greatest joy was raising her four children. She was the kindest, most selfless mother anyone could hope to have. She worked at Eastern Drilling Mud in Cambridge. After retiring, she could be seen at garage sales and auctions around town. For 25+ years, she was an entrepreneur who had various booths in downtown Cambridge. She loved going to "the shop". Margaret also enjoyed gardening and sitting on her back porch swing.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, John Cummings. They had four children, Coleen (John) Bistor of Leesburg, Florida, Michael Cummings of Cambridge, Ohio, Darlene (Dave) Applegate of Morgantown, Kentucky and Kellee (Bill) Knellinger of Cambridge, Ohio.
Margaret had 10 grandchildren, Brandon Bistor, Luke Bistor, Wade Bistor, Spenser Bistor, Keirstin Cummings, Johnathon Cummings, Katie Danford, Cassie Springer, Chris Knellinger and Heather King. Sixteen great grandchildren completed her loving family.
Friends and family may call from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home in Cambridge, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home officiated by Father Nicholas. Burial will be immediately following the service at Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge.
