Marilyn Louise Savage, age 85 of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Astoria Place. She was born on March 27, 1938 in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Emmett Clifford Neff and Hazel Odesa (Mercer) Neff.
Mrs. Savage was a graduate of Cambridge High School. She attended First Methodist Church. She was a member of the Cambridge Lioness Club. For many years, Marilyn was a choir director for several area churches. She was the owner of Marilyn's Music and gave piano and organ lessons to many.
Marilyn is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Frank Lorain Savage in 2014; her brothers, Richard, Melvin, William, Loren, Arthur; and sisters, Bonnie and Shirley.
Surviving are: her daughters, Joleen (Hutchison) Watkins of Marietta and Koreen Jill Hutchison of Zanesville; step children, Rick Savage, Crystal Savage, Craig Savage and John Samuel Savage; many grandchildren, including Carl R. Watkins; a brother Gerald Neff; many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home from 2 to 4 pm with her service at 4 pm. Pastor Georgette Gaston will officiate. Private burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart and Lung Associations.
