Marjorie Cain, age 98 of Buffalo formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Astoria Place. She was born in Leadville, Ohio on July 6, 1925, a daughter of the late Joseph Treherne and Isabelle (Zwoll) Treherne.
Mrs. Cain had worked at Fletcher State Hospital for many years as a cook and as kitchen personnel. She loved sewing, baking, cooking and gardening and flowers. She was very faithful in her church and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
Marjorie is preceded in death by: parents, husband Elvin Cain; her daughter Carol (& husband David) Vanest; her siblings; Dorothy Chalfant, Grace Oliver, Margaret Renner, Joseph Treherne Jr. and Raymond Treherne.
Surviving are: her sister Charlotte Kyle; a son Lester Donelson of Michigan; granddaughter Trista (Garey) Eibel of Pleasant City and their family, Britney (Brandon) Johnston, Courtney Eibel and Deven Eibel; several other grandchildren and great grandchildren including, Gwen, Lester, Brandy, Tonya, Kayla; and several great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm with services to begin at 1 pm. Steve Allen will officiate the service with burial to follow in Northwood Cemetery. Marjorie's online guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com .
