Martin J. Huth, age 78, of New Concord, Ohio, passed away Sunday December 19, 2021 at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville, Ohio surrounded by his family. He was born on January 10, 1943 in Fort Benning, Georgia, son of the late Gilbert and Juanita Huth. Martin had a career in the sales and construction industries, worked for the Cambridge Metropolitan Housing Authority, and then retired early to focus on his rental properties. Fearless in life, Martin never found a problem that couldn't be solved. With his ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit, he built everything around him. His strong left hand could sketch a portrait, swing a hammer, lead a partner on the dance floor. Anyone who had the good fortune to sit with him for a cup of coffee could feel his magnetism and charisma. Martin was loving and generous to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Nita and his brother Doug. Surviving is his wife Helen E. Huth whom he married on February 8, 1964, their children Tim (Lisa Andres) Huth, Christine (Nescher) Pyscher, Kate (John) Bokas, and Karen (Ian Honohan) Huth, 7 grandchildren Cameron (Zuzu), Ian, and Aaron Bokas, Geir Pyscher, Sidney Huth, Oliver Honohan, and Isabella Andres-Huth, and 2 great grandchildren Zeno and Zevan, and a sister Lois (Ray ) Lewis. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
