Marvin Lloyd Johnson, age 78 of Byesville, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born in Hoquiam, Washington on January 13, 1932, a son of the late John Norman Johnson and Ruth (Lyndall) Johnson.
Marvin was a Fishery Biologist for almost 30 years for fish hatcheries in numerous states. He was a union member of Federal Fish and Wildlife and was also a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Byesville.
Marvin was married on September 18, 1959 to Verna Mae (Faul) Johnson of the home. He also leaves: a daughter, Lori Johnson of Bismark, ND and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister and four brothers.
Friends may call at from 1 to 4 Sunday at Bundy-Law Funeral. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint MI. Memorial Contributions ma be made to The Calvary Baptist Church, 245 S 6th Sreet, Byesville, OH 43723.
