Mary Ann Banal, age 53 of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 17, 1970 in Marietta, a daughter of the late Judson M. Modesitt and Thelma Elizabeth (Miller) Modesitt.
Mary Ann was a graduate of John Glenn High School, class of 1988. She had worked at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed Christmas shopping, being outdoors, going nature walks and enjoyed watching butterflies, and being with her family.
Mary Ann is survived by: her husband, of 28 years Bob Banal; daughter Alicia Banal; a brother Marlon Modesitt; sisters, Rosalie (Joe) Lucas, Mikki Ravak and Marcie Modesitt; nephew and niece, Casey Harriman and Brandy Cologie; great niece Lahna Cologie; mother in law Sueann Banal; sister-in-law Michelle McKee; and nieces and nephews, Rachael, Amanda, Matt and Austin; and numerous other relatives; and her life long best friend Tracey Graham-Houser.
She is preceded in death by: parents and her father in law Angelo David Banal.
