Mary Elizabeth "Beth" McKay, age 93, of Cambridge, OH passed away Saturday August 5, 2023 at Embassy of Cambridge. She was born on May 19, 1930 to the late William McGath Jr. and Mildred Spencer McGath in East Palestine, OH. She graduated from Salem City Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. Beth worked at Guernsey Memorial Hospital as an R.N. from 1952 until retiring in 1994. She was a member of Christ Our Light Parish in Cambridge. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling and reading. Beth was an avid Steelers fan.

Along with her parents Beth is preceded in death by her husband John F. "Jack" McKay who passed away in 1968. One brother Darren Blaine McGath.

Surviving are one son, Michael B. (Debra) McKay of Cambridge, OH. Two granddaughters, Heather McKay of Cambridge, OH and Kelly Beckner of Pataskala, OH. One great granddaughter, Allison McKayla Beckner. A good friend and traveling companion Margaret Hall. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 pm Tuesday at Bundy-Law Funeral Home and again Wednesday from 10 am till 11 am at Christ Our Light Parish. The Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am Wednesday at the church with Father Nicholas Ginnetti officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
