Mary K. Laughman, age 100, of Cambridge, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, at 7:30pm, in her home. She was born on December 15, 1901 to the late Thomas Burke and Katherine Burke.
She was the oldest member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church, in Cambridge. Mrs. Laughman retired from Ohio Bell after 28 years of service, as an operator. She was a member of The Catholic Daughters, and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Surviving is a son, Thomas J. Patty Laughman of Cambridge, 2 grandchildren,Thomas Laughman II, and William Laughman, 4 great grandchildren, Gage, Brooke, Donovan and Thomas Laughman, also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Proceeding her in death are 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be held at Bundy - Law Funeral Home on Thursday, September 12, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, with the Catholic Daughters of America reciting the Rosary at 4:00pm, and the Wake service at 8:00pm. The service will be held at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Cambridge, at 10:00am with Father Borer officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvery Cemetery.
