Mary L. Meeks age 93 of Cambridge, passed away om Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 17, 1921 in West Lafayette, a daughter of the late Cora (Myers) Graham.
Mrs. Meeks was an LPN at the State Hospital for almost 30 years and had also worked at N.C.R. and Moore Enameling in West Lafayette. Mary delivered Meals on Wheels; she was president of First Baptist Women's Fellowship; she enjoyed her flowers and gardening, crocheting, knitting and was an avid viewer of FOX News.
Surviving are: daughter Barbara Ann Meeks of the home; son Robert A. Meeks of Cambridge; several nieces, nephews and several very special friends including the Covington Family from Denham Springs, LA.
Mary is preceded in death by: her husband Aurthur "Buss" Meeks on September 5, 1971; and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 and on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday with the service at 12 p.m. at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. Rev. Reginald Martin and Rev. Keith Peachy will officiate the service with burial following in Coshocton Memory Gardens.
