Mildred Lucy Leach, age 82, of Quaker City, Ohio died Tuesday Morning February 8, 2005 at Genesis-Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. She was born November 7, 1922 the daughter of the late George and Jessie Blackhill Slembosky. She was a Housewife and a Protestant by faith. She loved to attend the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center and play bingo at the Old Washington Fire House.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy E. Leach, 4 Brothers: Albert, Ed, Louie and Clarence Slembosky. 1 Sister Alice Slembosky.
She is survived by 1 daughter Carolyn and Steve Chandler. 2 Sons: Stanley Leach of Cambridge and John and Lynn Leach of Cambridge. 2 Sisters: Cathy DePauli and Jennie Krause, both of Akron. 1 Brother Mitch Slembosky of Sarahsville, Ohio. 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren
Calling hours will be held at Thorn-Black Funeral Home in Quaker City Thursday from 7:00PM till 9:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be 2:00PM Friday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home in Quaker City with Rev. Carol Touvell officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Quaker City, Ohio.
