Mildred L. Showalter, age 92, of Cambridge died Wednesday morning April 28, 2004 at her home. She was born December 10, 1911 in Belmont County, the daughter of the late Charles and Bessie Hayes. She was a retired Nurses Aide at Cambridge State Hospital and worked for Universal Pottery and Oxford Tile Companies, both of Cambridge. She was a member of Salt Fork Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond H. Showalter in 1973, 3
Daughters: Sandra Showalter, Janet Larrick and Shirley Hayes. Also by 4 Brothers:
Charles, Bernard, Thomas and Everett Hayes.
She is survived by 2 Daughters: Bonnie L. Fairchild of Cambridge and Sharlene and Stanley Grimes of Old Washington. 7 Grandchildren: Ronnie Shipe, Danny Fairchild, Larry Hayes, Darla Kahrig, Shelly Long, Becky Larrick and Amy Brown.
10 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Alson by several close Nieces and Nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Bundy-Law Funeral Home where services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bob Merritt officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset View Cemetery in Londonderry, Ohio.
