Nancy Ann (Loader) Guegold, November 18, 1933 – September 14, 2024

Nancy Ann Guegold passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Smiths Mill Health Center in New Albany, Ohio. She was born on Saturday, November 18, 1933 in Cambridge, Ohio, where she made her home for a majority of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph W. Loader and Mary Jane Loader, her husband, Walter W. Guegold, and her grandson, W. Nathan Guegold. She is survived by her brother, Gary Loader (Sally), sons, William K. Guegold (Judi), John B. Guegold (Karen), and Karl W. Guegold (Tina), grandchildren, Meghan Hege (Daniel), Bethany Guegold, Maureen Ally (Dodd), Katie Mize (Chris), John Ryan Guegold (Katie), Ben Guegold, and McKenna Thompson (Dylan), great-grandchildren Josh W. Guegold (Liz), Jaedon Guegold, William and John Ally, Olivia and Liam Mize, Eileen and Calvin Guegold, and Theodore Hege, great great grandsons Nathaniel W. Guegold and Nathan M. Guegold, as well as nieces Karry Cobb (Jay) and Kali Loader, and grand-niece, Sage.
Nancy served as the Secretary/Treasurer of the family business (Guegold Construction, Inc.) in the 1970s. She enjoyed volunteering at the National Cambridge Glass Museum and the Guernsey Memorial Hospital. She was a life-long member of Christ Lutheran Church of Cambridge, where she served many years on the church council and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Cambridge Concert Association Board, Eastern Stars, VFW Ladies, and the Elks Club of Cambridge.
Her hobbies included socializing with family and friends, collecting Cambridge Glass, staying active, playing cards, appreciating music, and caring for animals. She was especially fond of vacations to the ocean.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 1101 Steubenville Ave., Cambridge, Ohio, 43725.
A private memorial service was held at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, Pastor Sara Cogsil, officiating, with burial in Northwood Cemetery, both in Cambridge, Ohio.
