Naomi Susan Allbritain, age 94 of Frankfort Road Salesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 21, 1924 in Byesville, a daughter of the late Roy H. Oliver and Margaret Ellen (Bennett) Oliver.
She was a 1942 graduate of Byesville High School. She was a member of Chalfant's Chapel and Old Washington United Methodist Church and the Old Washington United Methodist Women. Naomi had worked at N.C.R. and at Cambridge State Hospital where she retired in 1988.
Naomi is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, John Bernard Allbritain in 1995; a daughter Judith Ann Wilson in 1994; siblings, Edna Ruth Oliver, Robert "Pete" Oliver, Rebecca Evans and Richard Oliver; a son in law Bruce A. Cook; and her dog Jake.
She survived by: children Dawn Mann-Thompson and husband Tommie of Lago Vista, TX, Karen S. Cook of Cambridge; Nancy L. Wilson and husband Fred of State College, PA., Thomas W. Allbritain and wife Sherri of Newark; a sister Kathryn Frizzell of Cumberland; grandchildren, Brian (Vicki) Wilson, Sherri (Dan) Wolford, Jennifer Cook, Jackie (Craig) McNulty, Doug (Tiffany) Wilson, Melanie (Mike) Duffy, and Stephen (Jeanna) Allbritain; 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 4 to 7 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. Her service will be held on Friday at 11 am with Pastor Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Old Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chalfant's Chapel Methodist Church or to Old Washington United Methodist Church.
