Norma I. Trescott, age 92 of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday January 27, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 1, 1926 in Cambridge, only daughter of the late Hiram E. Sheets and Bertha I. (Blackburn) Sheets.
Mrs. Trescott was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, baking cookies and worshiping God. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Norma is preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband, George P. McMillen; second husband, Clarence Trescott; a son George James McMillen; three son in laws, Jerry Nixon, Allen Grudier and Gary Stack; a great granddaughter Jennifer D. Hickman; grandsons, Joe Smith and Larry Askew; and three brothers, Ernest Wylie, Kenneth Sheets and Charles Sheets.
Norma was proud of her nine sets of five generations in her family. Leaving her children, Marilyn (Dave) Carsey of Caldwell, Patsy Nixon of Cambridge, John E. McMillen of Nova, Maggie Grudier of Byesville, Janice (Dale) Smith of Buffalo, Carolyn McMillen of New York and Rick (Sevim) McMillen of Kent; 18 grandchildren; 36 great grand children; and 9 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home from 4 to 7 pm. Her service will take place on Thursday at 11 am with Pastor Robert Garman officiating. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery. Norma's online guest book may be viewed and signed at
