Obituary

Patsy (Pat) Rose Johnson of Cambridge, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 17, 2021 with her husband by her side.
Pat was born November 24, 1940 in Quaker City, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leanna (West) Rose and Charles Rose. She graduated from Old Washington High School. While she held positions as telephone operator and store manager, she took the biggest pride in her job as wife and mother. After caring for her family in places like Washington, DC, North Canton, Ohio and Glen Ellyn, Illinois; she and her family lived in Bay Village, Ohio for 24 years before moving to Cambridge.
While in Cambridge, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church and of Alpha Omega Circle. She served as a Deacon of the church. Pat's love of people and her family was very important to her. She also served as a volunteer at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.
One of her favorite hobbies was reading genealogy books and records. Her family is listed among the Pioneer Families of Ohio and First Families of Guernsey County.
Pat is survived by her husband of 60 years, William C. Johnson, whom she married July 16, 1960, two sons: Roger Lee (Pearl) Johnson of Orlando, FL, and Randy Charles (Christie) Johnson of Greensburg, PA. They have three grandchildren: Luke Johnson, Sapphire Johnson, and Sylvie Suzanne. She is survived by sisters, Charlene Gallagher and Janice Agler. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding her in death is her father and mother; a brother, Jackie Rose; and an infant son William Charles Johnson II, along with her grandparents.
Friends may call Tuesday from 10 am till 11 am at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will take place at 11 am Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Caleb McClure and Pastor Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Harmony Christian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Cambridge or Hospice of Guernsey.
