Paul Louis Burke, 50 of Pickerington, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at his home. He was born in Coventry, England on September 27, 1971, a son of Anne (Murray) Moore of Norwich and the late Joe Burke.
Paul Burke was a 1989 graduate of Cambridge High School. He then went on to earn multiple bachelor degrees and a masters degree before joining the Public Defender's Office as a Criminal Investigator for the State of Ohio. Paul served in two tours in the US Navy on the USS Biddle and USS Guadalcanal.
Paul is survived by: his beloved wife, Sara Elaine (Diehl) Burke; children, Owen Burke, Grant Burke, Mollie Burke, Kayla Watkins, Audrey Watkins and Francis Haft; his brothers, Joe Burke and Corey (& Laura) Moore; his mother and step-father Anne (& Jerld) Moore; his father and mother-in-law Michael (& Melissa) Diehl; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 12pm to 3pm with a service to begin at 3pm. Pastor Mark Slay will officiate. Military Honors will be performed in the parking lot by the Guernsey County Veterans Council at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Association at 1500 Rosecrans Avenue Ste. 200 Manhattan beach, CA 90266.
