Paul L. Kuhn, age 77 of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Astoria Place of Cambridge. He was born in Lewisville, Ohio on August 5, 1940, a son of the late Leander Odella Kuhn and Genevieve Eldora (Smithberger) Kuhn.
Mr. Kuhn was Catholic by faith. He served in the Army National Guard from 1963 to 1969. He retired from Cantwell Machinery as service manager in 2003 after 26 years of service. Prior to that he was a heavy equipment mechanic for various companies. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and farming.
Paul is survived by: his children, Ryan Carpenter of Cambridge, Sharon (Kenny) Matthews of Cambridge, Kurt (Marcy Dennis) Carpenter of Cambridge, Susan Gang of Austin, TX, and Jamie Kuhn of Cambridge; daughter-in-law Julia Kuhn of Columbia, S.C.; grandchildren,Taylor Matthews, Derek (Andrea Williams) Matthews, Ryan S. Carpenter, Emily McMillen and Colin Archer; two great grandchildren, Olivia Matthews and Avery Matthews; siblings, Kenneth Kuhn, Joe Kuhn, Rose Pero, Rita Kuhn, Carol Kuhn, Mary (Russell) Betts, Lucy (Delmas) Betts and Elaine "Tootsie" Beidenbach; the mother of his children Glenda Banner of Cambridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; a son, Monty Kuhn; and a brother, James "Jimmy" Kuhn.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 5 to 8 pm. His service will be held at Bundy-Law on Saturday, July 21 at 10:30 am with Father Dave Gaydosik officiating.
