Phyllis "Nadine" Bowlin, age 91, of Cambridge, Ohio, passed away at her home on the morning of November 27, 2022.
Nadine was born in Christopher, Illinois on May 24, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Sarah (Wallwork) Boner and met her husband, Tom, when they were children in Christopher, IL. Tom and Nadine were married on October 3, 1948. They had four children, and were married for 55 years, before Tom's death in 2003. Tom and Nadine founded Plastic Compounders, Inc. together in Cambridge, Ohio, in 1965.
Over her lifetime, Nadine had many hobbies. She loved playing Mahjong with a local group of ladies on Friday mornings and was a member of the First Royal Red Hat Society of Cambridge. She was an avid golfer, participating in many area golf leagues over the years, winning several tournaments, and was proud of making two holes-in-one. One of her favorite activities to pass time at home was needle pointing and made Christmas stockings for each of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also loved reading and crossword puzzles.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Sarah; husband, Thomas A. Bowlin Sr.; daughter, Amelia "Amy" Jane Bowlin; daughter, Constance Bowlin Carroll; and her beloved dog, Alex Grace. Nadine leaves behind a son, Thomas A. Bowlin, Jr. and his wife Cathie; and a daughter, Phyllis Kathleen Eubanks and her husband Dick; a son-in-law, David P. Carroll; grandchildren, Kelly and Phil Vermilion, Carly and Matt Hartmeyer, Thomas Bowlin, III and wife Lisa, Allison Carroll, Amy and Sam Bollington, Scott and Jennifer Eubanks, and Brad and Danielle Eubanks; and great-grandchildren Tristan and Warren Hartmeyer, Pennie and Maxwell Bowlin, Cambrie Constance Bollington, and Mitch, Molly, Bella, Aiden, and Brynn Eubanks.
