Randall Allen "Randy" Scott, age 76 of Cambridge, Ohio passed away on Saturday July 20, 2024 at his home. He was born in Cambridge on May 8, 1948, a son of the late John Orion "Jack" Scott and Lois Vera (Allen) Cronin.
Mr. Scott was a 1966 graduate of Cambridge High School. He then attended Kent State and received his private license for fixed wing in July 20, 1967 for Cessna 150. Then he received his commercial helicopter pilots license on May 18, 1968.
Randy was associated with his father with Helicopter Services in Zanesville and Akron, Ohio. He started his career working for Foote Mineral in 1974 and completed his career in 2001 with Shield Alloy. He was an active member of the Men's Full Gospel group in Cambridge. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and a member of the Guernsey County Senior Citizens.
Randy was an avid Ohio State Football fan. He was a man of faith with God. He loved his family deeply. He had a passion for cars, motorcycles, four wheelers and corvettes and really enjoyed a good steak or seafood. He was an excellent storyteller.
Surviving are his wife of almost 51 years, Teresa L. "Terri" (Potts) Scott, they married on Sweetest day on October 20, 1973, two sons Jason (Amy) Scott of Uniontown, Ohio and John (Kerri) Scott of Aurora, Colorado, grandchildren Jake Scott and Ava Scott of Uniontown, Ohio, and Andrew Scott and Stella Scott of Aurora, Colorado; sister Linda Kay Scott of Cambridge, Ohio; brother Shawn O. Scott of Millersport, Ohio; nieces Karla (Jed) Rumora, Kayleigh Scott, Kristi (Matt) Wertheimer; nephews Jack (Erika) Scott and Michael McKinney.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Thursday July 25, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.. Funeral services will be on Friday July 26, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bundy-Law Funeral Home with Pastor Evan Greathouse officiating. Entombment will follow in Northwood Cemetery's mausoleum.
