Obituary

Rev. Eldon E. Wilson, age 92 of Cambridge, died Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Red Carpet Health Care Center in Cambridge. He was a son of the late Franklin Wilson and late Dora LaFollette Wilson.
Rev. Wilson was a retired United Methodist Pastor and a Retired Sales Person for the Gibson Packing Company.
He was a member of the Center United Methodist Church. He was in the U.S. Army during W.W.II where he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant. Rev. Wilson was also a member of the Point Pleasant Masonic Lodge and a Member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge.
Proceeding him in death are: his first Wife; Suzanne Teflan Wilson whom he married on June 12, 1938, she died in July of 1977, also proceeding are 6 brothers; Melvin, Earl, Don, Robert,LeRoy and William .
Eldon is survived by: his wife Marjorie Norine Wilson whom he married on April 16, 1983, 1 daughter; Mrs. David Mary Helen Hall of Midlothian, Virginia, 1 step-daughter; Mrs. Larry Judith Lynn Mathers of Cambridge, Ohio, 2 sons; Eldon F. Emmi Wilson of Grovetown, Georgia and David L. CindyWilson of Cambridge, Ohio, 1 sister; Mary Gibson of Salem, Ohio, 9 grandchildren; Mrs. Jonathan Emily Rehmert, Steven Wilson, Jon Hall, Mrs. John Megan Adams, Mrs. Robert Mary Pierson, Chris Mathers, Brad Tammy Mathers, Betsy Mathers and Jamie Mathers, and 3 great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm with the service at 11:00am on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004. Rev. Don Fairchild will be officiating with burial following in Northwood Cemetery. Military Graveside Rites will be Conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Guernsey or to the The Red Carpet Health Care Center- Activity Fund.
