Richard Max Donley, age 76, of Cambridge died Tuesday morning January 27, 2004 at his home. He was born September 15, 1927 in Cambridge, Ohio the son of the late William C and Neva Pauline Cropper Donley. He was a former employee of Cambridge Glass and Retired from Branthoover & Johnston Co. with 47 years of service. He was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Cambridge where he served as a Deacon and Elder. He was a Member of VFW Post 2901 of Cambridge, Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union 95, and was a member of the Cambridge Country Club and the TTS Golf Group. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.
He was Preceded in death by 2 Brothers: William C. and Robert L. Donley. 3 Sisters: Marjorie Hammond, Delores Tobin and Betty Rhodes. 1 Grandchild Douglas

He is survived by his wife Grace M. Oliver Donley, whom he married April 6, 1947, at home, 2 Daughters: Pam Donnelly of Cambridge and Debbie and Tim McKim of Cambridge. 1 Son Doug and Dina Donley of Plano, Texas. 1 Sister Barbara and Raymond Stringer of Scot Depot, West Virginia. 4 Grandchildren: Kevin and Kyle Donnelly, Samee McKim and Thomas Drew Donley. Several Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

The funeral service will be held at the 1st Christian Church 1127 Beatty Ave. Cambridge, Ohio Friday at 11:00AM with Rev. Terry Tate Officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, Ohio. Military Graveside Services will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
